Recently, the team at Splat had the pleasure of helping Louis Hockman, principal of ADRx, expand his audience by creating a streamlined process to grow his email list. Lou came to us with a challenge: his reach wasn’t as broad as it could be, and he needed a solution to engage more people in a meaningful way.
The solution was simple but effective. The sales funnel had one clear goal—turning visitors into subscribers for Lou’s email newsletter. The process began with targeted ads and social posts, primarily on LinkedIn, aimed to direct traffic to a landing page we built. The purpose of this page? To capture email addresses. No need for anything complicated—just a single field for email input. By keeping the form short and sweet, visitors were more likely to subscribe.
Once they hit “Submit,” we didn’t stop there. Users were also presented with an exclusive eBook designed by our team, adding extra value right from the start. On top of that, we integrated the landing page with Mailchimp. This ensured that every new contact was automatically added to Lou’s mailing list and organized for easy management.
We didn’t stop at just capturing email addresses. Every new subscriber received a confirmation email and was instantly added to Lou’s weekly newsletter cycle, which goes out every Thursday. This way, his audience immediately began to receive valuable content, reinforcing the connection between Lou and his new subscribers.
Since going live, this system has netted many new subscribers, with more to come. By expanding Lou’s email list, we’ve helped grow his brand’s reach. In the future, we’ll look at ways to convert these subscribers into leads, but for now, the focus is on building a solid foundation.
If you’re looking to widen your audience and convert visitors into subscribers, a simple and effective funnel is the way to go. Keep it easy for users to sign up, and automate the rest to ensure you can focus on delivering valuable content while growing your base.
